RB Appointments
Who is Rasing Beauty?
Rasing Beauty was founded on September 2018 in New York City by a female-minority beauty veteran Joanne Rasing Hedstrom. Joanne started with a passion to stay connected with the importance of looking after our skin.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give us at least 24 hours of advanced notice for cancellations or rescheduling your appointment to avoid any charges.
Feeling unwell?
• Please reschedule your appointment until you feel back to full-speed if you have any of the following:
• A temperature over 100.4 degrees F.Feeling under the weather for any reason.
Do you accept same-day appointments?
We will do our best to accommodate same-day appointments.

Is it safe for pets to be around during my in-home appointment?
To ensure the best and safest in-home skin treatment choose a seperate room or space to relax.
Where is Rasing Beauty located?
We come straight to your NYC doorstep or visit us at our Manhattan Facial Studio located in West Chelsea, NYC.

How do you set up an in-home facial?
When your facialist is setting up for an in-home service please allow 15 minutes for set up and 15 minutes for break down before and after each appointment.
Facials & Body Treatments
All we need from you is a clear 9 ft by 5 ft space and an outlet.
We bring our facial bed to provide our services and a small table for our tools.
Makeup, Express Facials, and Skin Analysis
All we need from you is a 15-inch by 15-inch tabletop space.
Can I book a treatment outside of NYC?
Absolutely! We service the entire state of New York and Connecticut!

Do we have to pay in full when booking an appointment?
Do we have to pay in full when booking an appointment?
A 20% deposit is required upon booking services at our Facial Studio location. The deposit is applicable towards products and services rendered and is non-refundable for any changes made towards your appointment with less than 24 hours notice.
All In-home services must be paid in full upon booking an appointment online and is non-refundable for any changes made towards your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice.
How do I choose add-ons for my skin care service?
Once you book your appointment, we will send an e-consultation form to you via text or email. From there, you will be able to choose the add-ons before your appointment.

How to Prepare Your Skin Prior To Your Appointment
We want you to look and feel your best!
Once your appointment has been booked, a personal secured e-consultation form will be sent via email 1-2 days prior to your appointment.
Please make sure to fully complete the form before the day of your service
Please refrain:
Facial injectables and laser treatments for at least 14 days before and after any facial treatments.
Antibiotics or medications that may cause skin sensitivity 3 to 5 days before and after any skin treatments.
Professional exfoliation treatments 14 days prior to any skin treatments.
At-home exfoliation AHAs, BHAs, Retinol, Vitamin A, etc… 5 days before and after any skin treatments. Clarisonic, enzymes, and/or other gentle exfoliation 3 days before and after any skin treatments.
Facial waxing for 72 hours before and after your appointment (5 days when receiving the +PEEL & HEAL treatments)
Facial shaving at least 24 to 48 hours prior to any skin treatments.
Spray tan services 7 days prior to any skin treatments.
Eyelash extensions 48-72 hours prior to any skin treatments.
Feeling under the weather? We recommend waiting until you feel back to full speed to book an appointment.
Post-Care Treatment
Post-care is essential to achieving the best results after receiving an RB skin treatment.
3-5 days post-skin treatment:
Increase your water consumption.
Refrain from the use of at-home AHA's (lactic acid, glycolic acid, malic acid, etc...), BHA's (Salicylic Acid), and prescription medications that may cause sensitivity to the skin.
Refrain from exposing your skin to excessive sun, pollution, wind, steam rooms, heat and sweat for at least 24 hours

Rasing Beauty has the right to refuse any services to the following:
1. Anyone who may be contraindicated to receiving professional skin treatments without a doctor’s consent.
2. Anyone who may be running more than thirty minutes behind schedule.
3. Anyone who shows insubordinate or any type of disrespectful behavior.

General Health
We want to ensure a safe and comfortable experience while receiving an RB Skin Treatment.
Please reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell and when you feel back to full-speed.
Reschedule your appointment if you feel any or all of the following:
Feeling under the weather.
• Unusual fatigue, body aches and pains
• Mild to severe headache
• A temperature over 100.4 degrees F.
• active cold sores
• painful rash
Environment
Our facial studio and Pop-Up locations use EPA disinfectants on all surfaces and High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters that kill 99.97% of airborne viruses and bacteria.
Safety
All RB facialists wears a medical mask throughout the service and face shields during extractions sessions.

Shipping + Returns
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We offer free standard shipping on all orders $150 or more, after discounts and before taxes, shipped anywhere in the U.S.
When will I receive my RB order?
2 - 14 Business days.
Shipment delays may occur due to holidays, natural disasters, and other unforeseen issues.
What shipping carriers do you use?
USPS, UPS, or Pick-Up options are available.
How much is shipping?
We offer a flat rate shipping of $9.99 anywhere in the United States.
Free shipping is available for orders over $150.
Please note for all shipments, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
Please also be aware that in the event that a delivery address is submitted incorrectly or mistyped when an order is placed, Rasing Beauty assumes no responsibility.
What is your return policy?
Your 100% satisfaction is important to us. Return shipping is free of charge and on us. Rasing Beauty allows 30-day returns for all products that are gently used or unopened.
Please email hello@rasingbeauty.com, and we will email you a label for free return shipping.
Please note that the original shipping costs are not refundable.
